Judgment and Reason: Responses to Healy and Reiner and Beyond

Abstract
[0] This paper is partly a response to the papers in this journal by
Healy [1:3] and Reiner [2:3] which discuss and criticize some
of the ideas in my Rationality (1988). In addition, I present
a better exposition of my account of judgment, a stronger defense of
the claim that human beings can exercise judgment, and a significantly
improved account of rationality than are found in my 1988 book.
