SORITES, dedicated to the promotion of analytical standards of rigour and clarity, favours no particular school or tendency within analytical philosophy. Its only allegiance is to a [fuzzy] set of methodological standards of rigour, clarity and careful argumentation, which characterize any rational way of doing philosophy. Submission of manuscripts written in accordance with such guidelines is welcome, in all fields of pure and applied philosophy.

There are three ways to submit:

(Procedure #1) The author accesses SORITES through FTP or Gopher and upload their submitted paper into the subdirectory Incoming -- along with a covering letter sent to SORITES's editorial e-address.

(Procedure #2) The author sends their submitted paper to SORITES's editorial e-mail inbox. (In addition to text files -- including .html files -- also files with a word-processor format can be included into an e-mail message -- by using an 8-to-7 bits convertor, such as UUenCODE, ASCIIZE, TxtBin, POPMail, or BINHEX.)

(Procedure #3) The author sends a non-returnable diskette to the Editor, Prof. Lorenzo Penya, CSIC - Institute of Philosophy, E-28006 Madrid, Spain.

A subscriptions service is available. Anyone having an e_address can become a subscriber by sending a message to sorites@pinar2.csic.es
